Thank you for considering Swiss Gardens Primary School for your child as they begin their school journey. Choosing the right school for your child is a very important decision, and we hope our website gives you a glimpse of what makes Swiss Gardens such a special place to learn and grow.

Our Reception children benefit from a rich and creative Early Years curriculum, with opportunities to learn through both child-initiated and adult-led activities, indoors and outdoors. We build on children's experiences from pre-school and provide exciting opportunities for them to explore, investigate and develop their independence.

As children progress through the school, they experience a broad and ambitious curriculum, enriched by real-life experiences, visits, visitors, clubs, sport, music and opportunities to discover and develop their individual interests and talents. We are proud to be a school at the heart of our local community.

Most importantly, we want our children to enjoy coming to school every day, feel proud of who they are and leave us ready for the next exciting stage of their education.

Applying for a place

Applications for children starting Reception in September 2027 open on:

Monday 5 October 2026

The closing date for on-time applications is:

Friday 15 January 2027 at 11.59pm

Applications should be made through West Sussex County Council.
